The creature would gain an advantage or profit by being able to now cast remove curse (and thus remove the curse). As a result the creature is unable to prepare remove curse specifically (or greater restoration). WebAnd with this adjustment, Sorcerers don't need to change their spells per long rest for the sake of wizards' fragile ego. It's not about stepping on toes, they already let the wizard walk all over the sorcerer with metamagic like abilities in 3 of their subclasses and better recovery abilities.
